Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.docx) document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Manuscript Submission Guidelines
Article submission to Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Kimia must be conducted exclusively through the online submission system. Manuscripts must be submitted in English.

Please follow the steps below to submit your manuscript:

Access the System: The submission process is handled via the Online Submission System on the Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Kimia electronic portal (click here).

Registration: Authors must register on the Register page (click here). Please ensure you check the role of "Author" to enable online manuscript submission.

Log In: Once registration is complete, log in using the username and password created during the registration process.

Initiate Submission: Begin the process by clicking New Submission. The submission process consists of five stages:

(2) Upload Submission

(3) Enter Metadata

(4) Upload Supplementary Files

(5) Confirmation

Detailed Submission Steps
Step 1: Start Select "Journal Section (Article)." Check all boxes under the "Submission Checklist" and "Copyright Notice." Click Save and Continue.

Step 2: Upload Submission Upload your manuscript file in MS Word format (.docx). Click Save and Continue.

Step 3: Enter Metadata

Author Details: Fill in the data for all authors and their affiliations. If there are multiple authors, please ensure everyone is listed by clicking Add Author.

Title and Abstract: Enter the Article Title and Abstract in English.

Keywords: Enter keywords in English. Note: Use semicolons (;) to separate keywords, not commas.

Other Fields: Complete the Indexing, Supporting Agencies, and References fields as applicable to your manuscript.

Click Save and Continue.

Step 4: Upload Supplementary Files Authors may upload supporting files such as research questionnaires, datasets, or other materials that support the article. Click Save and Continue.

Step 5: Confirmation Review all entered data. If everything is correct, click Finish Submission. The author will receive a Submission Acknowledgement via the registered email address.

Note: If you encounter any technical issues during the online submission process, please contact the editorial team.

Letter of Acceptance (LoA) Policy
Please note that a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) will only be issued after the article has undergone the peer-review process and has been officially accepted for publication.
