SISTEM INFORMASI AKADEMIK SEKOLAH BERBASIS WEB MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PROTOTYPE ( STUDI KASUS : SMK BINA MANDIRI DEPOK)

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang cepat dan pesat menjadi tantangan berat bagi sebuah perusahaan ataupun lembaga pendidikan, baik itu negeri maupun swasta. Seperti halnya SMK Bina Mandiri Depok merupakan salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yang berada di kecamatan Sawangan kota Depok.Yang ingin menciptakan lingkungan pendidik yang dapat bersaing di era global ini, Namun demikian sistem yang ada saat ini dirasa kurang efektif karena belum memiliki sistem informasi yang dapat di akses dengan cepat. Untuk mengurangi kekurangan tersebut, SMK Bina Mandiri Depok memerlukan sebuah sistem yang dapat memudahkan guru serta siswa dalam memberikan dan mendapatkan informasi secara mudah, cepat dan bisa di akses di manapun. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan sistem informasi ini menggunakan Prototype, metode ini dapat di gunakan untuk merancang dan menganalisis Sistem Informasi Akademik Sekolah Berbasis WEB di SMK Bina Mandiri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan Sistem informasi akademik ini sebagai solusi bagi SMK Bina Mandiri untuk mengolah bagian akademik dalam penyajian laporan nilai secara cepat dan tepat dibandingkan secara manual.
