GERAKAN ECO-MASJID: PENGUATAN PENDIDIKAN EKOTEOLOGI MELALUI PENGELOLAAN LINGKUNGAN BERBASIS MASJID DI PERUMAHAN AL FALAH 3

Permasalahan lingkungan di kawasan permukiman perkotaan masih menjadi tantangan serius, terutama terkait rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah dan pelestarian lingkungan. Di Perumahan Muslim Al Falah 3 Pamulang, persoalan tersebut diperparah oleh belum optimalnya pemanfaatan masjid sebagai pusat edukasi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam isu lingkungan. Padahal, ajaran Islam menempatkan manusia sebagai khalifah fil ardh yang memiliki tanggung jawab untuk menjaga keseimbangan dan kelestarian alam. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis masyarakat melalui penguatan pendidikan ekoteologi berbasis masjid. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan community-based education dan participatory action yang meliputi tahap persiapan, sosialisasi dan edukasi ekoteologi, pelatihan pengelolaan sampah berbasis 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), implementasi program Eco-Masjid, pendampingan komunitas, serta evaluasi dan keberlanjutan program. Kegiatan melibatkan pengurus masjid, tokoh masyarakat, dan warga secara aktif dalam setiap tahapan. Luaran yang diharapkan meliputi peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang ekoteologi Islam, terbentuknya komunitas peduli lingkungan berbasis masjid, tersusunnya panduan Eco-Masjid, meningkatnya praktik pemilahan sampah rumah tangga, serta terciptanya lingkungan yang lebih bersih, sehat, dan berkelanjutan. Program ini diharapkan mampu mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keagamaan dengan aksi nyata pelestarian lingkungan sehingga masjid berfungsi tidak hanya sebagai pusat ibadah, tetapi juga sebagai pusat transformasi sosial dan ekologis masyarakat.
