Penguatan Literasi Media Sebagai Strategi Meningkatkan Kesadaran Digital dalam Berkomunikasi Siswa SMK Triguna Utama Syarif Hidayatullah

Perkembangan pesat teknologi digital membawa perubahan signifikan dalam cara berkomunikasi, terutama kalangan pelajar. Kebermanfaatan dan dampak positif dari perkembangan teknologi informasi dan media digital beriringan dengan munculnya tantangan besar yang dihadapi. Kurangnya literasi media dapat membawa dampak negatif bagi siswa, baik dalam hal pola pikir, kebiasaan, maupun kesiapan mereka dalam menghadapi dunia kerja yang semakin bergantung pada teknologi. Distraksi dari media sosial serta kurangnya literasi menjadi hal yang dipandang perlu dalam mencapai komunikasi yang efektif dan beretika. Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dalam tema penguatan literasi media bertujuan agar terciptanya budaya literasi media yang lebih sehat di lingkungan sekolah dan masyarakat luas, khususnya SMK Triguna Utama Syarif Hidayatullah. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi pemahaman dasar konsep literasi media dan pelatihan interaktif, siswa tidak hanya menjadi peserta yang aktif. Ketertarikan siswa terhadap topik yang dibahas menjadi indikator bahwa siswa mulai menyadari pentingnya memahami literasi media secara lebih mendalam. Pelatihan interaktif yang dikemas dalam permainan “hoax hunter” memberikan simulasi nyata kepada siswa dalam berpikir kritis, memverifikasi setiap informasi yang didapat, dan berdiskusi untuk menentukan kebenaran informasi. Kegiatan ini menjadi ruang temu yang bermakna antara dunia akademik dan pendidikan vokasional, dimana ilmu pengetahuan dikemas secara aplikatif untuk menjawab tantangan komunikasi di era digital.
