Abstract

Era digital telah menghadirkan lanskap informasi yang kompleks, perangkat desa kerap dihadapkan pada tantangan berupa misinformasi, disinformasi, dan kecepatan penyebaran berita yang tidak terverifikasi. Keterbatasan kapasitas digital dan pemahaman yang memadai mengenai strategi komunikasi yang efektif di platform digital dapat menghambat kemampuan perangkat desa dalam melaksanakan fungsi pembangunan dan pelayanan publik. Kondisi ini melatarbelakangi kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang diselenggarakan oleh Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Pamulang yang berlokasi di Desa Curug Kecamatan Gunung Sindur Kabupaten Bogor pada hari Kamis, 25 September 2025 dengan tema “Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Komunikasi Pembangunan bagi Perangkat Desa dalam Menghadapi Tantangan Era Media Digital”. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh para perangkat desa, mulai dari Kepala Desa, Sekretaris Desa, Ketua Badan Permusyawaratan Desa, para Ketua RW dan RT, kader posyandu, para guru, dan tokoh lainnya. Kegiatan berlangsung dari pukul 13.00-16.00 WIB, yang diawali dengan pemaparan materi atau sosialisasi kemudian dilanjutkan dengan sesi diskusi dan juga tanya jawab sehingga mampu memberikan ruang bagi para perangkat desa perihal keluhan yang mereka rasakan dalam proses pembangunan di masyarakat. Setelah kegiatan tersebut, para peserta merasakan dapat memiliki pengetahuan tentang bagaimana melakukan komunikasi pembangunan di masyarakat, hingga sikap dan strategi menghadapi banyak informasi di media digital saat ini.
