Fenomena bullying dan konflik interpersonal di lingkungan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan manifestasi kegagalan komunikasi sosial yang berdampak serius terhadap perkembangan psikologis peserta didik. Tingginyaangka kekerasan di sekolah sebagaimana dilaporkan KPAI dengan 3, 795 kasus pada 2023 dan 38,2% terjadi di lingkuan pendidikan menunjukan urgensi intervensi sistematis berbasis komunikasi empatik, SMK SASMITA JAYA 2, Pamulang, Tangerang Selatan, dipilih sebagai mitra kegiatan karena teridentifikasi adanya pola konflik verbal, minimnya program pencegahan bullying yang terstruktur, serta rendahnya pemagahan siswa tentang komunikasi empatik. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan pada kamis 2026, dengan peserta 54 pesrta yang terdiri dari atas siswa kelas X-XII, guru pembimbing. Kebutuhan kegiatan didasrkan pada hasil observasi awal dan wawancara yang mengindentifikasi empat problematika utama: 1. Rendahnya pemahaman tentang komunikasi empatik, 2. Teridentifikasi konflik verbal dan fisik di kalangan siswa, 3. Ketiadaan program pencegahan bullying yang terstruktur, serta 4. Lemahnya keterampilan siswa dalam pengeloaan emosi dan resolusi konflik, Metode yang digunakan bersifat partisipatif dan aplikatif, meliputi ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, simulasi (role play), studi kasus, serta evaluasi melalui pre- test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan komunikasi empatik siswa, yang dibuktikan dengan peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 58,4 menjadi 82,7 (meningkat 41,6%). Program ini diharapkan mampu mentransformasi budaya komunikasi sekolah menjadi lebih humanis, inklusif, dan berkelanjutan.
The phenomenon of bullying and interpersonal conflict in the Vocational High School (SMK) environment is a manifestation of social communication failure that has a serious impact on the psychological development of students. The high number of violence in schools as reported by the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) with 3,795 cases in 2023 and 38.2% occurring in the educational environment shows the urgency of systematic intervention based on empathetic communication, SMK SASMITA JAYA 2, Pamulang, South Tangerang, was chosen as an activity partner because of the identified pattern of verbal conflict, the lack of a structured bullying prevention program, and the low level of student understanding of empathetic communication. This Community Service Program (PKM) was held on Thursday 2026, with 54 participants consisting of students in grades X-XII, supervising teachers. The need for activities is based on the results of initial observations and interviews that identified four main problems: 1. Low understanding of empathic communication, 2. Identified verbal and physical conflicts among students, 3. The absence of a structured bullying prevention program, and 4. Weak student skills in emotional management and conflict resolution. The methods used are participatory and applicable, including interactive lectures, group discussions, simulations (role plays), case studies, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The results of the activities showed a significant increase in students' understanding and empathic communication skills, as evidenced by an increase in the average score from 58.4 to 82.7 (an increase of 41.6%). This program is expected to be able to transform the school's communication culture to be more humanistic, inclusive, and sustainable.
