Vocational high school (SMK) students preparing to enter the workforce need business communication competence that is both professional and culturally sensitive. Observation and discussion with SMK Telekom South Tangerang revealed that students still have limited understanding of culturally sensitive business communication and have not optimally utilized local wisdom as a foundation for professional communication ethics. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to develop culturally sensitive business communication competence based on the local wisdom of South Tangerang through education, training, and practice that integrates local cultural values. The materials covered business communication, cross-cultural communication, professional ethics, marketing communication, and the application of local values in business interaction. The method used was participatory, applying a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach with a diagnose, plan, act, and reflect cycle, including interactive lectures, discussions, case studies, simulations, and role-play. The activity was held on 23-25 April 2026 and attended by 45 students out of a target of 35. The results show increased student understanding of professional business communication, the ability to integrate local wisdom values such as courtesy and mutual cooperation into communication practice, and improved communication skills through simulation and presentation. Program outputs include improved student competence, a culturally sensitive business communication learning module, scientific publication, and strengthened partnership between the university and the school. The program is expected to improve the employability of SMK graduates who are professional, adaptive, and respectful of cultural diversity.
