Eksternalitas UBSP TBM Warabal Terhadap Masyarakat Sekitar Desa Pamegarsari Parung

Abstract

Economic activities in small and large scale environments certainly give rise to externalities for other people and the surrounding environment. The aim of this research is to photograph the positive & negative externalities of UBSP TBM Warabal on the social and economic aspects of the community around Pamegarsari Parung Village. This type of research is field research using a qualitative narrative method approach. The results of the research show that the existence of UBSP TBM Warabal activities creates positive externalities, such as encouraging innovation in the community, creating a business from UBSP loan funds, helping people who previously did not work to be able to have jobs such as home trading, there is a gathering once a month which increases knowledge and skills of mothers, can help the community's economy, and help increase social interaction in society. Meanwhile, negative externalities that occurred at UBSP TBM Warabal were several UBSP members who borrowed funds late in installments that did not meet the due date, and members were dishonest when they wanted to borrow funds from UBSP. Completion of negative externalities of UBSP TBM Warabal is through regulations and social approaches.
