This article investigates the impact of technology and the digital era on criminal acts and law enforcement in Indonesia. Through descriptive-analytical analysis, this article highlights changes in types of criminal acts, law enforcement strategies, as well as challenges and opportunities faced by law enforcement officials. Key findings suggest that technology facilitates criminal activity while also providing opportunities for law enforcement to increase effectiveness. The importance of implementing adaptive policies and increasing the capacity of law enforcement officials in dealing with technological developments was highlighted. Collaboration between government, the private sector and society is identified as key to responding to this challenge.
