The Role of Discipline and Parental Attention in Student’s Learning (Empirical Study on Students with Achievement in Social Studies Subjects in Junior High School)

This study aims to: (1) Analyze Student Discipline at SMP Terpadu Darussalam, (2) analyze the role of parents in instilling the character of learning discipline in students at SMP (Yunior High School) Terpadu Darussalam, and (3) analyze students' understanding of the definitions, goals, and objectives. the benefits of discipline and parental attention at SMP Terpadu Darussalam. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data collection procedure is through interviews, observation and documentation, the data sources used are primary and secondary data. Checking the validity of the data, namely technique triangulation and source triangulation, while the data analysis used is data reduction (data reduction), data display (data presentation) and conclusion drawing/verification (drawing conclusions and verification) . Research results show that (1) students no come late go to school, (2) parents guide their children in the learning process children,(3) role discipline learning and parental attention _ in studying social studies is in category good enough.
