PERKEMBANGAN MAZHAB HUKUM ANGLO SAXON DI NEGARA SINGAPURA DAN MALAYSIA
Abstract
The legal systems that are generally used are civil law and common law systems. The common law legal system adopted by Anglo Saxon countries. Anglo Saxon is a school of law that originally emerged and developed in the United Kingdom. Along with changing geographical conditions as well as continuous political and social developments, this legal system is rapidly expanding beyond the territory of the UK, especially in the former colonies (commonwealth). In Southeast Asia, countries that adhere to the Anglo Saxon legal system are Singapore and Malaysia. The application of law in the two countries will certainly be somewhat different from Indonesia because of the influence of the Anglo Saxon legal system.
