ANALISIS PENGARUH BOPO, CAPITAL ADEQUACY RATIO, NON PERFORMING LOAN, DAN LOAN TO DEPOSIT RATIO TERHADAP RETURN ON ASSET

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh BOPO, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non Performing Loan dan Loan to Deposit Ratio terhadap Return On Asset. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Untuk memudahkan penelitian, penulis mengambil sebanyak 6 Bank di Indonesia yang sudah go-public yaitu Bank Mandiri, Bank BTN, Bank BNI, Bank BRI, Bank BCA dan Bank CIMB NIAGA yang terdiri atas perhitungan rasio keuangan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis Data Panel menggunakan Eviews 7.1. Secara parsial dari empat variable independen yang diteliti, ada 3 variabel independen yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Return On Asset yaitu : BOPO, NPL dan LDR. Sedangkan 1 variabel independen tidak berpengaruh terhadap return on asset yaitu variable CAR.Dengan demikian hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa BOPO, CAR, NPL dan LDR secara simultan berpengaruh langsung dan signifikan terhadap Return On Asset sebesar 79,54%. Bank harus berusaha semaksimal mungkin agar tingkat NPL berada di bawah 5%. Semakin tinggi NPL akanmengakibatkan kerugian terhadap bank. Selain itu, bank juga harus mampu menyalurkan kredit dengan efektif, sehingga jumlah kredit macetnya akan kecil dan besarnya standar LDR harus mengikuti ketentuan yang telah ditetapkan oleh Bank Indonesia antara 80%-110%.
