Implementasi Ruang Ilmiah dalam Perspektif Teori Humanistik pada Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh Mahasiswa Sentra Layanan Universitas Terbuka (SALUT) Kota Batu

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui terkait ruang ilmiah yang diciptakan oleh Universitas Terbuka Salut Kota Batu bagi mahasiswa dengan mekanisme pembelajaran jarak jauh dalam perspektif teori humanistik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Lokasi yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah di Sentra Layanan Universitas Terbuka Kota Batu. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini didapatkan melalui wawancara yang dilakukan kepada Pengelola SALUT dan mahasiswa UT. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pembelajaran yang dilakukan pada Salut Kota Batu Universitas Terbuka sangat sulit menjalin interaksi dengan lingkungan. Hal ini disebabkan karena mereka sebagai mahasiswa dihadapkan pada kemajuan teknologi seingga dalam menghubungan karak antar mereka memanfaatkan teknologi tersebut untuk mempersempit jarak yang ada. Beberapa penghambat yang tidak mampu membentuk ruang ilmiah mahasiswa Universitas terbuk adalah keterbatasan interaksi mengingat mekanisme pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara online sehingga tidak memberikan ruang gerak kepada mahasiswa untuk berinteraksi dengan mahasiswa lainya. Selain itu, ketiadaan interaksi bagi mahasiswa tuton terhadap mahasiswa sehingga perkuliahan hanya menekankan pada teoritis dan tidak memberikan pandangan atas interaksi, lingkungan dan rasa sosial yang seharusnya terjalin dalam mekanisme pembelajaran.
