PENGARUH KONFIGURASI OZON TUNGGAL, UV254 DAN GAC TERHADAP PRODUKSI OH RADIKAL PADA SISTEM PENGOLAH LIMBAH PHX

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkarakterisasi alat pengolah limbah yang telah dirancang untuk mengurangi polutan organik seperti fenol dengan serangan OH radikal. OH radikal diproduksi dari ozon dan telah dimodifikasi dan disusun seri. Selain itu, perubahan konfigurasi pada alat akan mempengaruhi produksi OH radikal dimana ozon tunggal menghasilkan rata-rata OH radikal selama 2 jam sebesar 4,04 mg/L, kombinasi Ozon dan UV254 sebesar 3,19 mg/l, sedangkan kombinasi ozon, UV254 dan GAC coconut 50 gram, sebesar 3,41 mg/L, 100 gram 4,26 mg/L, 150 gram 4,04 mg/L dan kombinasi ozon, UV254 dan GAC batu bara 50 gram sebesar 4,89 mg/L, 75 gram sebesar 4,05 mg/L, dan 100 gram 3,8 mg/L. Produksi OH radikal tertinggi diaplikasikan pada fenol sintesis 30 ppm dimana hasil terbaik ada pada Ozon, UV dan GAC coconut 100 gram yang mampu menyisihkan fenol sebesar 85% sedangkan ozon, UV GAC batu bara 50 gram setara dengan ozon, GAC coconut 100 gram sebesar 70%.
