Pengendalian Persediaan Material pada Produksi Hot Mix dengan Pendekatan Metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ)

Setiap perusahaan menginginkan hasil produk yang berkualitas, namun harus diimbangi pula dengan ketersediaan bahan baku yang selalu tersedia agar proses produksi berjalan lancar. Masalah persediaan bahan baku pada dasarnya dialami oleh setiap perusahaan, namun masalah pengelolaan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan berbagai metode, salah satunya metode Economic Order Quantity ( EOQ), dalam penelitian ini penulis mencoba menganisa masalah pengadaan bahan baku. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian persediaan bahan baku dari tahun’2015’sampai dengan tahun 2016 setiap tahunnya omengalamipenurunan persediaan bahan baku, Safety Stock bahan baku bila menggunakan metode EOQ adalah lima kali pembeliaan bahan baku dalam satu periode (1 tahun). Batas atau titik pemesanan bahan baku kembali yang dibutuhkan bila menggunakan metode EOQ pada tahun 2017 yaitu sebesar 392,24 ton kemudian untuk total biaya persediaan bahan baku perusahaan bila dihitung menurut data perusahaan pada tahun 2017 adalah Rp 1.045.032.500,00 sedangkan dengan menggunakan metode EOQ sebesar Rp. 625.762.277,42. Jadi ada penghematan yang diperoleh sebesar Rp 419.270.222,58.
