Untuk menghadapi kondisi persaingan industri manufaktur yang ketat perusahaan dituntut agar meningkatkan efisiensi dalam menggunakan fasilitas serta menghasilkan produk dengan ongkos yang rendah melalui perancangan layout yang baik. Perancangan tata letak pabrik bisa dilakukan dengan suatu pendekatan sistematis dan terorganisir seperti metode Systematic Layout Planning (SLP). Biaya pemindahan bahan bisa dihitung menggunakan metode Heuristik dengan teknik Euclidean. Berdasarkan hasil perancangan yang dilakukan peneliti menghasilkan rancangan layout dengan efisiensi biaya pemindahan bahan Rp. 363.799 per bulan dibandingkan dengan layout yang ada saat ini.
