Abstract

This study aims to formulate development strategies for Naureen Tourism Park based on mining reclamation and environmental sustainability. The SWOT dan Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) approaches were employed to analyze internal and external factors and prioritize strategies. The findings indicate that Naureen Tourism Park is positioned in quadrant II of the IE matrix, with an IFE score of 2.818 and an EFE score of 2.625, reflecting a stable position that requires stability strategies. Weakness-Opportunity (WO) strategies are recommended, with the top priority is promotion strategy through events (TAS score: 6.25, followd by improving road access or fundraising (TAS score: 5.25), and training and recruiting human resources (TAS score: 4.08). Additionally, the study highlight the successful reclamation of mining areas into an educational tourism site supporting global sustainability programs, particulary the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The findings are expected to serve as a guide for managers in developing economically, environmentally, and social sustainable tourism park.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meruuskan strategi pegembangan Taman Wisata Naureen yan berbasis reklamasi tambang dan ramah lingkungan. Pendekatan SWOT dan Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) digunakan untuk menganalisis faktor internal dan eksternal, serta menentukan strategi prioritas. Hasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Taman Wisata Naureen berada pada kuadran II matriks IE dengan skor IFE sebesar 2,818 dan EFE sebesar 2,625, menunjukkan posisi stabil yang memerlukan strategi stabilitas. Strategi weakness-opportunity (WO) direkomendasikan dengan prioritas utama berupa promosi melalui acara (event) dengan nilai TAS 6,25, diikuti dengan strategi perbaikan jalan atau menggalan modal dengan nilai TAS sebesar 5,25, serta perekrutan dan pelatihan suber daya manusia dengan nilai TAS sebesar 4,08. Selain itu,penelitian in menyoroti keberhasilan reklamasi tambang menjadi area wisata ramah lingkungan yan mendukung program keberlanjutan SDGs. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan bagi pengelola dalam mengembangkan taman wisata yang berkelanjutan secara ekonomi, lngkungan, dan sosial.
