Safety Culture Pada Lingkungan Rumah Tangga

Abstract

For domestic workers, work accidents are certainly very detrimental, potentially resulting in loss of jobs and income because until now there has been no health insurance or protection against work accidents. So far, the K3 culture has only been limited to the formal employment sector such as offices, large factories, construction, workshops and workplaces that are subject to labor supervision. However, for the informal employment sector such as small and medium enterprises, street vendors, home industries, agriculture, livestock, fisheries, including households, the implementation and monitoring of K3 inspections is still a challenge due to the lack of human resources and resources for labor supervision. Community service activities were carried out in Iringmulyo Village, Metro Timur District, Metro City, Lampung. The community service methodology for implementing a safety culture in the household environment can be carried out through several strategic steps. The following is the methodology applied: Identification of Needs: Program Planning, Program Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Continuous Improvement. K3 training with a focus on safety culture in the household environment has succeeded in increasing the knowledge, awareness, and skills of participants in maintaining safety and health.
