Abstract

The development of information technology is realized to have a positive impact on the development of the business world, especially online buying and elling activities. Moreover, the development of Online Shop through the internet media is currently mushrooming in Indonesia, even very well known by the general public. The results of the research studied this time, show that online buying and selling according to Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning information and electronic transactions, is considered valid if it uses an electronic system in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and online buying and selling agreements via the internet are considered valid if they meet the Subjective and Objective requirements. The validity of electronic buying and selling (e-commerce) can apply the Civil Code as the basis for recognizing its validity where the conditions for the validity of the agreement are listed in Article 1320 of the
Civil Code, namely: agreement, capability, a certain thing and a halal cause. Online buying and selling agreements are inseparable from the basic concept of agreements listed in Article 1313 of the Civil xi Code which emphasizes that an agreement is an act by which one or more people bind themselves to one or more other people. The purpose of this research is to describe the application of the principle of trust in online buying and selling transactions. This research uses normative legal research, in normative research an assessment of the law as an orma is carried out, namely examining and studying objects against their legal principles. data collection
techniques in this study use secondary data sources, namely by examining legal materialsn legislation, literature, and the internet.
