Optimalisasi Kepatuhan Hukum Pelaku Usaha Melalui Sosialisasi Pentingnya Sertifikasi P-Irt Dan Sertifikasi Halal Di Desa Sarimukti
Abstract
The limited understanding among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) operators in Sarimukti Village regarding business legality—specifically the Home Industry Food Production Certificate (P-IRT) and halal certification—remains a barrier to sustainable business development. This situation is prevalent among MSME operators in the village, most of whom are engaged in home-based food and beverage production. This Community Service (PKM) initiative aims to enhance MSME operators' understanding and legal awareness regarding the importance of business licensing and the procedures for obtaining P-IRT and halal certifications. A participatory approach was employed, utilizing outreach sessions, interactive discussions, and case studies. MSME operators participated actively in the learning process, which combined lectures with discussions. The results indicate an improvement in participants' understanding of the importance of business legality and their ability to identify the appropriate licenses for their products, as well as a better grasp of the application procedures for P-IRT and halal certification. Participants also gained practical knowledge regarding administrative requirements, food safety standards, halal product assurance systems, and the online certification application process. The initiative successfully raised legal awareness among MSME operators and fostered their readiness to independently manage business legality, thereby helping to improve product quality, consumer trust, and business competitiveness.
