Analisis Pengaruh Konsumsi Bahan Bakar terhadap Variasi Roller dan Variasi RPM pada Sepeda Motor Matic 110 cc

Konsumsi bahan bakar yang efisien serta performa mesin yang responsif merupakan harapan umum para pemilik sepeda motor. Jenis kendaraan ini dipilih karena harganya terjangkau, perawatannya mudah, dan penggunaan bahan bakarnya relatif hemat. Sepeda motor matic menjadi salah satu yang paling diminati karena kepraktisannya dan kemudahan dalam melakukan modifikasi, termasuk melalui variasi roller sebagai komponen penggerak. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada variasi berat roller untuk melihat pengaruhnya terhadap konsumsi bahan bakar, konsumsi spesifik, dan efisiensi termis. Roller standar pabrikan berbobot 12 gram dijadikan acuan pembanding. Hasil pengujian fuel consumption pada 1000 rpm, 1500 rpm, dan 2000 rpm menunjukkan selisih yang tidak signifikan antara roller 8 gram, 10 gram, dan 12 gram, dengan perbedaan tertinggi mencapai 0,000016 L/jam. Konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik (Be) terendah ditunjukkan oleh roller 8 gram, yaitu 2,845 kg/jam, sementara roller 10 gram dan 12 gram berada pada kisaran 3,250 kg/jam. Efisiensi termis terbesar juga dicapai roller 8 gram dengan nilai 0,0381%, disusul roller 10 gram sebesar 0,0258%, dan roller 12 gram sebesar 0,0101%.
Abstract: Fuel-efficient consumption and responsive engine performance are essential expectations for motorcycle users. This type of vehicle is widely chosen due to its affordability, easy maintenance, and relatively low fuel usage. Matic motorcycles are particularly popular because of their practicality and the ease with which they can be modified, including through variations in roller weight as a key driving component. This study focuses on the variation of roller mass to determine its influence on fuel consumption, specific fuel consumption, and thermal efficiency. The manufacturer-standard 12-gram roller is used as the reference. The fuel consumption test results at 1000 rpm, 1500 rpm, and 2000 rpm indicate no significant difference among the 8-gram, 10-gram, and 12-gram rollers, with the maximum discrepancy recorded at 0.000016 L/hour. The lowest specific fuel consumption (Be) is shown by the 8-gram roller at 2.845 kg/hour, while the 10-gram and 12-gram rollers remain around 3.250 kg/hour. The highest thermal efficiency is also achieved by the 8-gram roller at 0.0381%, followed by the 10-gram roller at 0.0258% and the 12-gram roller at 0.0101%.
