Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat lintas-negara ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi gizi seimbang anak usia sekolah (7–12 tahun) serta kapasitas pengasuh di Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Perlindungan Al-Haq, Kuala Lumpur. Intervensi dirancang berbasis model “Isi Piringku/MyPlate” melalui edukasi interaktif (ceramah singkat, permainan tematik, diskusi terarah), distribusi media cetak (poster, buku saku), pelatihan perencanaan menu bagi pengasuh, serta penyusunan mini-kurikulum agar keberlanjutan terjaga. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan pre–post test pengetahuan, observasi implementasi saat jam makan, dan umpan balik mingguan. Luaran yang diharapkan mencakup peningkatan ≥70% skor pengetahuan anak, terlatihnya minimal 5 pengasuh dalam menyusun menu seimbang berbasis sumber pangan lokal, tersedianya modul 4–5 sesi siap pakai, serta pemasangan media edukasi di area makan/kelas. Kegiatan ini selaras dengan IKU–MBKM melalui pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman, keterlibatan dosen–mahasiswa di luar kampus, dan dampak nyata bagi mitra. Pendekatan ini ditopang bukti bahwa promosi kesehatan berbasis “Isi Piringku” efektif meningkatkan pemahaman gizi pada peserta didik dan relevan untuk konteks panti asuhan.
