Abstract

ABSTRACT: E-This research examines the existence of the world of e-sports which is experiencing fast development with a focus on examining legal protection for e-sports athletes. The legal issue discussed is legal protection for e-sports athletes in Indonesia. The method used is a normative juridical research method, namely research on legal principles using secondary data. While the data analysis method used is qualitative methods and the information tool used is document study. The result of this study is that the protection of e - sports athletes is still based on an agreement between e-sports athletes and e-sports teams, while the legal protection by the state is not maximal because there are still no specific regulations for e-sports assistance. The suggestion for this research is that the government and the DPR need to immediately make a law that specifically contains material on the world of e-sports and e-sports athletes. 1
