SOSIALISASI HUKUM TENTANG PENGHAPUSAN KEKERASAN DALAM RUMAH TANGGA

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Law No. 23 of 3 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence which came into force on September 22, 2004. In addition, Presidential Decree No. 181 of 1998 concerning the Commission Against Violence against Women since October 9, 1998. However, in reality there are still many members of the community in general and mothers in particular who do not know, clearly understand the contents of the provisions in the legislation. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the knowledge and understanding of the community, especially PKK mothers on the laws and regulations related to the problem of domestic violence, so that they have awareness and attention to be able to play an active role in assisting the government in overcoming the problem of domestic violence. Without the participation of the community, especially women, in helping to overcome the problems above, the government's efforts will not work well. In this regard, there is a need for legal awareness regarding the elimination of domestic violence, so that a harmonious and prosperous household will be maintained. With Problem Formulation 1) How to provide knowledge and understanding about the importance of eliminating domestic violence to PKK administrators, Ciputat Village, Ciputat District, South Tangerang City. 2) How to improve the ability of PKK administrators in Ciputat Village, Ciputat District, South Tangerang City. in dealing with and resolving/solving problems related to domestic violence in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
