Abstract

The importance of legal protection for consumers is caused by consumers' weak bargaining position. Legal protection for consumers requires taking sides with consumers who have a weak bargaining position. Legal protection for consumers is a big problem, with global competition that continues to grow. Legal protection is urgently needed. In online buying and selling transactions, there are still problems that occur. More and more people are using online media to make buying and selling transactions. The more users, the more problems they face. So in this case consumer protection is needed because consumers are the most vulnerable to getting into trouble. The method used is Normative Juridical because this research is only aimed at written regulations, so this research is very closely related to literature because it will require primary and secondary data, namely from laws, books, journals and others.
