Abstract

The rapid growth and increasing density of the City of DKI Jakarta has resulted in an impact on the lack of available land and causes the need for land use to increase. Beaches are the country's natural resources and their management falls to the Regional Government. Work on the reclamation of the North coast of Jakarta is based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 52 of 1995 concerning reclamation of the North coast of Jakarta. In carrying out the reclamation of coastal areas, it must pay attention to the various impacts that will be caused by these activities. These impacts include environmental, socio-cultural and economic impacts. Environmental Impact Analysis is a study of the impacts that arise and is important in terms of making business or activity decisions that have been planned for the environment, so that they are needed as a decision-making process regarding the implementation of a business or activity. The close relationship between people and companies and the environment cannot be separated, so that every good, clean and healthy environment is a non-negotiable necessity for the benefit of all of us. In order to create good, clean and healthy environmental conditions, it is necessary to prohibit every person or company from carrying out a business or activity that may affect the environment. So that the environment can be managed properly according to its function. In order to protect the environment from damage, prohibitions in the environmental sector have been regulated in Law Number 32 of 2009 Article 69 which are intended for everyone, including companies.
