UPAYA PENEGAKAN HUKUM TERHADAP KORBAN PERBUDAKAN MODERN YANG DILAKUKAN BUPATI LANGKAT NONAKTIF

Abstract

This research is motivated by a case about human right. Human rights are rights that are inherent to every individual and cannot be contested because they are a gift from God Almighty (fundamental rights). human rights violations. One of them, namely slavery. Slavery is an act committed by individuals who have the power to forcefully employ people and take away their human rights. Perangin-angin published as the Langkat district head, his children, and his subordinates carried out slavery against people who were considered involved in social problems, they carried out this slavery by using their power and setting up cages under the guise of rehabilitation homes. They torture and forcefully employ people who are considered to have these social problems. This study aims to find out what kind of legal protection victims can receive and how important this human right is viewed. This study uses a normative juridical method, namely library research that uses principles, norms, and legislation as primary data sources and books, journals, and other scientific works as secondary data sources.
