Transformasi Tata Kelola Laboratorium Sekolah Kejuruan: Penerapan Manajemen Laboratorium Berbasis TLM dI SMK PGRI 5 Serpong
Abstract
Pengelolaan laboratorium yang efektif menjadi kunci dalam menunjang kualitas pembelajaran praktik di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Namun, banyak laboratorium di SMK mengalami kendala dalam hal manajemen, pemeliharaan alat, serta keselamatan kerja. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas laboratorium di SMK PGRI 5 Serpong melalui penerapan manajemen laboratorium berbasis Total Laboratory Management (TLM). Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan pengelolaan laboratorium, penyusunan prosedur operasional standar (POS), digitalisasi sistem inventaris, dan pembentukan tim pengawas laboratorium. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keteraturan manajemen, efisiensi pemanfaatan alat, serta kesadaran terhadap keselamatan kerja. Artikel ini merekomendasikan replikasi model ini sebagai praktik baik dalam penguatan pembelajaran vokasional di SMK.
