Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to improve the competence of vocational high school teachers in developing Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based learning through interactive learning media based on industrial case studies. Partners' problems include the continued dominance of conventional learning, limited development of interactive media, and the suboptimal integration of industrial case studies in the learning process. The activity implementation method is carried out through observation, interviews, workshops, training, simulations, and mentoring. The activity is carried out in several stages, namely planning, training implementation, evaluation, and reporting. Training materials include strengthening HOTS concepts, developing interactive learning media, and compiling questions based on industrial case studies. The results of the activity show an increase in teachers' understanding and skills in compiling HOTS-based learning tools. Teachers are able to develop draft teaching modules, interactive learning media, and analytical questions based on industrial case studies that are more contextual and relevant to the needs of the world of work. This activity also encourages the creation of more active, innovative, and student-centered learning.
