Abstract

Financial literacy is the ability to understand and manage finances effectively to support well-being and make sound economic decisions. Low levels of financial literacy among students can affect their ability to manage personal finances and develop an entrepreneurial mindset. This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to improve financial literacy and foster entrepreneurship among students of SMA Negeri 7 Malang. The program was conducted on April 27–29, 2026, involving 40 students from grades XI and XII. The methods used included educational sessions, interactive discussions, business planning simulations, and participant evaluations. The results showed an improvement in students’ understanding of personal financial management, simple financial record-keeping, business budgeting, and the importance of saving and investing. In addition, students demonstrated increased motivation to develop creative business ideas. The program contributed to shaping students into more independent, productive, and entrepreneurially oriented individuals.
