Abstract

In order to meet the needs of industry, in high quality and mechanical properties of steel has always available.Itu necessary to conduct heat treatment to improve the microstructure and mechanical o properties of steel JIS S45C. Through the heat treatment temperature of 800 ° C with a variation of up to 900C for 15 minutes and quenching mediated Oil SAE 40 obtained the highest hardness at the heat treatment temperature of 850 and 900oC with hardness values of 52.3 and 54.5 HRC, or about 567-576 HV.
