PENGARUH DIAMETER PIPA ABSORBER DAN JARAK FOKUS REFLEKTOR TERHADAP FRAKSI RADIASI PADA PARABOLIC TROUGH SOLAR POWER PLANTS
Abstract
Parabolic trough reflector has a trough shape with longitudinal section in parabolic curve and an absorber pipe that is placed in the focus line. The analysis that aims to get the function that shows the relation between radiation fraction that emitted from parabolic reflector to absorber pipe and both of absorber pipe diameter and focus of parabolic reflector is necessary. This research was done by using analytical mathematics and numerical approximation as a comparison with analytical result. By analytical mathematics, the function that shows the relation between radiation fraction that emitted from parabolic reflector to absorber pipe (F21) and both of absorber pipe diameter (Do) and focus of parabolic reflector (p) can expressed as Do 21p F=0.3241339.. The numerical approximation by Simpson methods is suitable to be used in calculation simulation software development for the system of parabolic trough solar collector with 1,01% error value, if it is compared with analytical calculation.
