Rambu-rambu lalu lintas merupakan atribut jalan raya yang berfungsi untuk menjaga keselamatan pengguna jalan raya. Gambar-gambar yang dipasang merupakan informasi yang harus dipahami setiap pengguna jalan raya. Informasi itu berbentuk gambar atau simbol yang mudah dipahami oleh pengguna jalan raya. Kecelakaan lalu lintas banyak terjadi karena kurangnya pemahaman pengendara akan tujuan rambu-rambu yang sudah disediakan. Pemahaman pengendara dirasa kurang sehingga banyak pengendara yang menghiraukan rambu- rambu yang ada. Padahal ini semua demi keselamatan dan kenyamanan bersama. Menambah kesadaran akan arti pentingnya keselamatan menjadi prioritas utama pembuatan aplikasi ini. Diharapkan aplikasi ini bisa membantu untuk menyadarkan para pengguna jalan raya akan pentingnya rambu-rambu yang ada demi keselamatan bersama.
