Abstract

The role of information technology has been widely utilized in everyday life, including one in the field of health. The use of information technology in the field of health has a very significant role to help the human soul and assist the development of research for the advancement of the field of medicine. The method of testing performed on the application of expert system of asthma diagnosis is using web-based forward chaining method. Asthma is a disorder of inflammation (inflammation) chronic airways that cause bronchial hyperactivity against various stimuli that are marked with recurrent symptoms of wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath, and a sense of weight in the chest especially at night or early morning which is generally reversible either with or without treatment.
