Perancangan Sistem E-Learning pada SMK Bina Taqwa Depok

Abstract

The improvement in information technology and communication has changed the way people live. And that feels at this point is simplicity of the internet access which has provided many new dynamics in human life. It is not only encourage the business world and enterprise purely, one of the sector which obtain a significant impact to the development of this technology is education field. Education is a process of communication and information from educators to students containing educational information, this element attained a touch of information technology media, so that caused the birth of the idea of e-learning. E-learning is a system that can facilitate student to learn more spacious, more and varied. Through the facilities provided by the system, student can learn anytime and anywhere without terminate by distance, time and space. In practice, the use of techniques and utilization of the internet also contribute in attracting the attention of students in the learning process, because it is basically the Internet has two main functions, namely the internet as a media tools and as a learning resource for students. The development method used in this research is Waterfall method, which it describes the systematic approach and also sequentially on software development, starting with user requirements specifications and then went through the stages of planning, modeling, construction, and delivery systems to customers/users, which ends with the complete software support generated.
