Abstract

One of the duty that should be done by every lecturer is community service. Each community service should have recorded properly in a system. Insitution of Research and Community Service (LPPM) is an directorate that manages all community service activities. Currently LPPM STMIK Atma Luhur Pangkalpinang still use the traditional way which input the data one by one into a spreadsheet application. When there is a change in the data, then the admin must re-input the data and modify the data. The result is ineffective in the time and effort. In addition, the accuracy of the data is questionable because can lead to redundancy of data and calculation errors due to individual errors. Therefore, the researcher built a system that able to solve all these problems. This research uses study literature and empirical approach. The implementation of the system is built with Visual Basic and uses a Microsoft Access database. The results of this study is community service data application desktop-based that are accurate and simplify management processes.
