Implementasi Monitoring Proxy Server Menggunakan SMS Gateway Berbasis Web

Nowadays, business firms rely heavily with information systems. In the information systems of which there are several hardware components, one server. To ensure the server can work well, it would require a monitoring system. PT Sigma Cipta Utama is a company engaged in the storage of data so that the information system needs to be very important following the monitoring system. One way to monitor the condition of the server is using the SMS gateway application where SMS (Short Message Service), which is one of the features of existing mobile phones ranging from mobile phones to the latest models of old (smart phone). The method used in this study is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). Several stages in this method is analisys, system design and implementation. In this study, a server monitoring system using SMS gateway with Gammu application, so that the goal of making this system is rapidly notify the IT staff if any server in monitoring die or interrupted connections. The results showed that the new monitoring system that can provide quick information to IT staff during disturbances on the proxy server connection. The faster the disruption resolved then the better service to the user.Downloads
