Abstract

The salesman have an important role to increase sales, makes profitability and also get customer loyalty. Therefore, every companies need salesman who has good quality of work. To looks performance of salesman, the companies need a good assessment system. But, many of companies still use conventional system to determine their assessment. In this system, the assessment only decided based on the highest of sales turnover, so the result of the assessment that is not accurate and it is causing some problems like the salesman are not regarding condition stock of product and seek of earnings only, consequently many products that is return. Furthermore, the less distribution of product because the salesman only taking of the increase store. This researce will be using Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. Use of the method TOPSIS .in selection the best of salesman aims to provide for help company management in choosing salesman who have a good performance because selection of the best salesman, good affect on progress company. Based on implementation and testing was done by writer, the result of this research that is the assessment support system will help companies to determine the best salesman in quickly, right and accurate.
