Abstract

Currently lots of government programs in the form of scholarship aid to underprivileged students in terms of economy. But in practice, the aid that many are not right on target. This is due to the selection process which still use the manual way that has the potential for relatively large errors. To overcome these problems, required the existence of a decision support system (decision support system) the right in the selection process for the underprivileged students. One method that can be used for the selection process is the Weighted Product method, because this method is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives. By utilizing a Weighted Product method in decision support system of this selection process can be more quickly and accurately, so that the assistance provided by the Government to students less capable right on target.
