PEMANFAATAN PEMAHAMAN DESAIN DAN KONTEN DALAM PENGEMBANGAN KUALIFIKASI PERSONAL PADA SISWA MAN 5 BOGOR
Abstract
ABSTRAK: Era digital menuntut pelajar memiliki identitas digital yang kuat sebagai bagian dari kesiapan akademik, sosial, dan karier di masa depan. Personal branding menjadi strategi penting dalam membangun citra diri yang positif melalui pemanfaatan media digital, desain konten visual, dan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI). Namun, hasil observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa siswa MAN 5 Bogor masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam memahami dan memanfaatkan personal branding secara strategis. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam membangun personal branding berbasis desain konten digital dan pemanfaatan AI. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi ceramah interaktif, workshop atau praktik langsung, diskusi dan tanya jawab, serta evaluasi hasil karya. Kegiatan ini melibatkan tiga orang dosen Program Studi Sistem Informasi Universitas Pamulang sebagai pemateri utama dan lima orang mahasiswa sebagai pendamping praktik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep personal branding digital, peningkatan keterampilan dalam membuat desain konten menggunakan aplikasi desain dan tools AI, serta tumbuhnya kesadaran untuk memanfaatkan media digital secara produktif dan kreatif. Dengan demikian, kegiatan PkM ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat literasi digital dan kualifikasi personal siswa sebagai bekal menghadapi tantangan di era digital.

ABSTRACT: The digital era requires students to develop a strong digital identity as part of their academic, social, and future career readiness. Personal branding has become an essential strategy for building a positive self-image through digital media, visual content design, and the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI). However, preliminary observations indicate that students of MAN 5 Bogor still have limited understanding and skills in using personal branding strategically. Therefore, this Community Service (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat) program aims to enhance students’ knowledge and skills in developing personal branding based on digital content design and AI utilization. The activities were conducted using interactive lectures, hands-on workshops, discussion and question-and-answer sessions, and evaluation of participants’ work. The program involved three lecturers from the Information Systems Study Program of Universitas Pamulang as main instructors and five Information Systems students as practice assistants. The results show an improvement in students’ understanding of digital personal branding concepts, increased skills in creating digital content using design applications and AI tools, and greater awareness of using digital media productively and creatively. Thus, this community service program contributes to strengthening students’ digital literacy and personal qualifications to face challenges in the digital era.
