Implentasi Metode English Fun Learning Berbasis Permainan Edukatif Untuk meningkatkan Kosakata Bahasa Inggris
Abstract
Pendidikan bahasa Inggris pada usia dini sangat penting dalam era globalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan metode English Fun Learning berbasis permainan edukatif dan aktivitas kreatif guna meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata dasar Bahasa Inggris santri TPA Ar Rayyan. Program dilaksanakan selama satu bulan dengan 50 santri sebagai subjek penelitian. Metode yang digunakan meliputi permainan edukatif (educational games), aktivitas kreatif, dan Total Physical Response (TPR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dengan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 42,5 menjadi 86,4 (gain 43,9 poin). Sebanyak 86% santri mencapai kategori Baik dan Sangat Baik. Aspek kata kerja mengalami peningkatan tertinggi (48 poin) membuktikan efektivitas metode TPR. Program ini juga berhasil menurunkan kecemasan berbahasa (language anxiety) sebesar 60% dan meningkatkan motivasi intrinsik santri. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Fun Learning dengan media low-cost terbukti efektif, feasible, dan sustainable untuk pendidikan non-formal
