The Utilization of Artificial Intelligence In The Development Of Powerpoint Teaching Materials
PEMANFAATAN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE DALAM PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR POWERPOINT
Abstract
ABSTRAK: Pendidikan era digital memerlukan transformasi metode pembelajaran. Guru Sekolah Wirabuana 1 menghadapi tantangan dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar interaktif berkualitas tinggi. Penggunaan PowerPoint konvensional yang statis mengurangi engagement siswa. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam memanfaatkan Artificial Intelligence untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar PowerPoint interaktif yang inovatif dan efektif. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan metode pelatihan partisipatif dalam lima fase selama 14 minggu. Fase meliputi: (1) analisis kebutuhan, (2) pelatihan teoritis, (3) pelatihan praktis hands-on, (4) pendampingan dan mentoring, dan (5) evaluasi. Melibatkan 28 guru dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, observasi partisipatif, focus group discussion, dan studi kasus.Program mencapai hasil sangat memuaskan dengan peningkatan kompetensi AI sebesar 64.7%, kepuasan peserta 4.4 dari 5, dan 110 bahan ajar interaktif dihasilkan dengan tingkat implementasi 85.7%. Engagement siswa meningkat rata-rata 24% dengan peningkatan nilai 7 poin. Metode lima fase terbukti efektif, dengan skor hands-on training tertinggi (4.7). Terbentuk ekosistem pembelajaran berkelanjutan melalui peer learning community dan mentoring system.Program pengabdian berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan kualitas pembelajaran. Disarankan: (1) advokasi kebijakan ke dinas pendidikan untuk adopsi program di sekolah lain, (2) pengembangan program lanjutan dengan tingkat kompleksitas lebih tinggi, (3) pembentukan Learning Community formal dan Technical Support Team, (4) dokumentasi best practices untuk diseminasi, dan (5) monitoring dampak jangka panjang 1-2 tahun.

ABSTRACT: Digital age education requires a transformation of learning methods. Wirabuana 1 School teachers face challenges in developing high-quality interactive teaching materials. The use of static conventional PowerPoint reduces student engagement. This program aims to increase the capacity of teachers in utilizing Artificial Intelligence to develop innovative and effective interactive PowerPoint teaching materials. The research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a participatory training method in five phases over 14 weeks. The phases include: (1) needs analysis, (2) theoretical training, (3) hands-on practical training, (4) mentoring and mentoring, and (5) evaluation. Involving 28 teachers by collecting data through questionnaires, participatory observations, focus group discussions, and case studies. The program achieved very satisfactory results with an increase in AI competence of 64.7%, participant satisfaction of 4.4 out of 5, and 110 interactive teaching materials generated with an implementation rate of 85.7%. Student engagement increased by an average of 24% with a 7-point increase in scores. The five-phase method proved effective, with the highest hands-on training score (4.7). A continuous learning ecosystem is formed through a peer learning community and mentoring system. The service program has succeeded in improving teacher competence and learning quality. It is recommended: (1) policy advocacy to the education office for the adoption of programs in other schools, (2) development of advanced programs with a higher level of complexity, (3) the establishment of a formal Learning Community and Technical Support Team, (4) documentation of best practices for dissemination, and (5) long-term impact monitoring of 1-2 years.
