IMPLEMENTASI APLIKASI SISTEM MANAJEMEN SISWA SEKOLAH BERBASIS WEBSITE DI SMP ISLAMIYAH SERUA
Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi informasi digital saat ini menawarkan peluang besar untuk meningkatkan kinerja proses administrasi di lembaga pendidikan. SMP Islamiyah Serua saat ini masih menghadapi kendala operasional karena pengelolaan data siswa, pemantauan pembayaran SPP, dan pencatatan akademik yang dilakukan secara manual. Hal ini menyebabkan risiko kesalahan input data tinggi dan rekapitulasi informasi memakan waktu lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan Sistem Manajemen Sekolah (SMS) berbasis web untuk mengotomatisasi proses tersebut. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Extreme Programming (XP) dengan tahapan planning, design, coding, dan testing. Teknologi yang diterapkan meliputi framework Next.js, basis data PostgreSQL, dan Tailwind CSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini berhasil mengintegrasikan modul Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) dengan verifikasi OTP, manajemen data akademik, dan transparansi laporan keuangan. Pengujian menggunakan Black Box Testing memastikan seluruh fungsi berjalan dengan valid. Implementasi sistem ini terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi waktu administrasi dan akurasi data di SMP Islamiyah Serua.
