RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM INVENTORY BERBASIS MOBILE UNTUK MONITORING STOK BARANG REAL-TIME
Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin pesat telah mendorong perusahaan untuk melakukan transformasi digital dalam berbagai aspek operasional, termasuk dalam pengelolaan persediaan barang guna meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan kecepatan pengambilan keputusan. PT Dwida Jaya Tama yang bergerak di bidang produksi dan distribusi furnitur saat ini masih menerapkan sistem inventory semi-konvensional, sehingga menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan seperti keterlambatan informasi, kesalahan pencatatan barang masuk dan keluar, serta kesulitan dalam memantau ketersediaan stok secara real-time. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem inventory berbasis mobile yang mampu menyediakan informasi persediaan secara real-time, akurat, dan terintegrasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan model Waterfall yang mencakup tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian sistem. Sistem yang dikembangkan terdiri dari aplikasi berbasis web untuk admin gudang dalam mengelola data serta aplikasi mobile berbasis Android yang digunakan oleh kepala gudang untuk memantau kondisi stok secara langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun mampu meningkatkan akurasi data inventory, mempermudah pemantauan stok, mempercepat proses pembuatan laporan, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih cepat, tepat, dan berbasis data aktual.
