Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin cepat dan pesat menjadi tantangan berat bagi sebuah perusahaan ataupun lembaga pendidikan, baik itu negeri maupun swasta. Setiap sektor pendidikan diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan teknologi informasi sebagai penunjang kegiatan operasional dalam menghasilkan suatu informasi. Sistem informasi akademik pada SMK Al-Amanah Sindang Jaya Kab. Tangerang masih dilakukan secara manual, dengan sistem pendataan yang sekarang dirasakan masih banyak kekurangan yang terjadi, dikarenakan sistem yang ada masih menggunakan lembaran kertas dan arsip sehingga menyebabkan data-data yang ada sangat mungkin hilang ataupun rusak. Pengembangan sistem pada SMK Al-Amanah Sindang Jaya merupakan sistem yang memberikan informasi akademik siswa/i secara online. Pembuatan sistem informasi akademik berupa jadwal pelajaran dan data pengajar berbasis web.
