PENGUATAN IDENTITAS BANGSA MELALUI KULINER: KAJIAN GASTROKRITIK DALAM NOVEL LAUT BERCERITA KARYA LEILA S. CHUDORI
Abstract
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana unsur kuliner dalam novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori berfungsi sebagai sarana untuk memperkuat identitas bagngsa Indonesia. Melalui pendekatan gastronomi sastra, penelitian ini akan menggali peran makanan dan ritual kuliner yang digambarkan dalam novel sebagai simbol dan representasi budaya, tradisi, dan politik yang terikat dengan tanah air. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan gastrokritik Suardi Endraswara. Data diperoleh melalui analisis teks terutama dalam novel Laut Bercerita dengan pengumpulan data yang melibatkan pembacaan, pemahaman, pencatatan, dan penyimpulan. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan peneliti untuk mengeksplorasi (1) Kuliner dalam novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori berperan dalam memperkuat identitas bangsa Indonesia. (2) Kuliner dalam novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori sebagai simbol dan representasi untuk menggambarkan dinamika politik identitas.
