Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine and measure how much compensation, employee performance and the effect of providing compensation on employee performance at PT Indokarya Cipta creations. The research method used in this research is descriptive method, with quantitative data analysis. The population in this study is the total employees of PT Indokarya Cipta creations totaling 125 people, while  the sample of 56 people who will be the respondents in this study obtained from the results using the Slovin formula. Its data collection technique using product moment formula, which aims to find correlation between variables

between compensation with employee performance. Method Data analysis used to calculate is using validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient analysis, simple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination and significant correlation test. Based on the analysis that researchers have done, there is a significant influence between compensation and employee performance, This can be proved from simple linear regression test that is obtained equation Y = 8.157 + 0.783X, and through the calculation of product moment correlation analysis, it is known that the correlation value of 0.818 thereby there is a very strong positive relationship between variables X and Y. To know the size of the influence used Determination Coefficient (KD) obtained 66.9%, it proves that the magnitude of the effect of compensation on employee performance of 66.9% and the rest of 33.1% influenced by several other factors not examined by the author. Based on test result of t test formula t hit> t tab that is 18,16> 1,67 which means that H0 rejected and Hα accepted, meaning compensation (X) have significant influence to employee performance (Y)
