Abstract

ABSTRAK

Fokus penelitian yang diangkat adalah analisis nilai-nilai budaya Melayu dalam sekuel novel “Padang Bulan†dan “Cinta di Dalam Gelas†karya Andrea Hirata. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi yakni dengan mendeskripsikan data pada teks novel secara tepat. Dalam hal ini data akan diklasifikasikan sesuai dengan kategori  kelompok data tertentu. Data yang telah diklasifikasikan akan dideskripsikan dan diberi penjelasan sesuai dengan konteks yang sesuai dengan data. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat nila-nilai teori, ekonomi, agama, seni, polotik dan solidaritas, dalam novel padang bulan dan cinta di dalam gelas.
