Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan fungsi dan modus kalimat pada tindak tutur komisif dalam pemilihan Calon Gubernur dan Calon Wakil Gubernur DKI pada pemberitaan Media Online edisi September sampai April 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh simpulan bahwa: (1) fungsi tindak tutur komisif dalam tuturan Calon Gubernur dan Calon Wakil Gubernur DKI pada Pemberitaan Media Online, meliputi: fungsi tindak tutur komisif meliputi: berjanji terdapat 20 data dengan persentase 37,1%, berniat terdapat  12  data  dengan  persentase  34,2%,  dan  menawarkan  terdapat  3  data dengan persentase 8,5%, modus kalimat tindak tutur komisif dalam Pemilihan Calon Gubernur DKI pada Pemberitaan Media Online Edisi September Sampai April 2017, meliputi: kalimat berita terdapat 34 data dengan persentase 97,1, dan kalimat tanya terdapat 1 data dengan persentase 2,8%.
