Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pandangan negatif tokoh Fatih dalam novel Egosentris karya Syahid Muhammad menggunakan teori Cognitive Triad Aaron Beck. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Fatih mengalami distorsi kognitif berupa perasaan tidak berharga (pandangan negatif terhadap diri sendiri), ketidakpercayaan terhadap lingkungan sosial (pandangan negatif terhadap dunia), serta rasa putus asa terhadap masa depan. Faktor penyebabnya meliputi konflik emosional, pengalaman traumatis, dan relasi sosial yang tidak suportif. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah restrukturisasi kognitif yang membantu Fatih menyadari dan mengubah pola pikir negatif menjadi lebih realistis dan optimis. Restrukturisasi kognitif dapat diterapkan untuk membantu individu menghadapi tekanan psikologis, memperkuat kepercayaan diri, serta menumbuhkan sikap lebih positif terhadap masa depan.
